Pancakes with jam recipe

Ingredients
-100g self raising flour
-1/4 ltr fresh milk
-1 egg
-20g sugar
-50g melted butter
-caster sugar to serve
-50g warm jam
Serves 4
Method
-Sieve the flour into a bowl, add the sugar and stir well
-Add the egg and milk and whisk to a smooth batter
-Brush a non-stick pan with some melted butter and heat over medium heat till pan is hot enough
-Add enough mixture to your desired sized-pancake and cook until bubbles appear on the upper side
-Wait for the pancakes to brown before carefully turning to the other side and repeating the procedure
-Transfer the pancake onto a plate and cover lightly with a paper towel
-Repeat with the remaining mixture adding butter for each new pancake while adjusting heat accordingly
-Spread warm jam on each pancake
-Roll like a Swiss roll and carefully trim the edges

-place neatly on a silver flat plate and sprinkle very lightly with caster sugar
