Fruit buns recipe

Ingredients
-200g all purpose flour
-5g yeast
-50g butter
-125ml milk and water
-50g washed and dried fruits (currants, sultanas, and raisins)
-1 egg
-One pinch of salt
Instructions
-Sieve the flour into a bowl and then warm in the oven or over the stove
-In a small basin, mix the yeast with a little of the milk-water mixture
-Make a well in the centre of the flour and pour the yeast-milk-water mixture
-Sprinkle the liquid with a little flour and cover with a cotton cloth
-Place in a warm place until the yeast ferments (until it starts to bubble)
-Add the egg, butter and dry fruits and knead until smooth but non-sticky
-Mould into 8 round balls
-Lightly grease a baking sheet and place the balls
-Cover with a cotton cloth and place in a warm place to allow the dough to prove
-Pre-heat the oven at 230 degrees for ten minutes
-Uncover dough and place in the oven to bake for approximately 15mins

-Brush with bun wash immediately removed from the oven
