Hot fruit salad recipe

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4 portions
Ingredients
-300ml apple juice
-4 oranges
-4 bananas
-4 dessert apples
-200g seedless grapes
-45g butter
-1 tsp cinnamon powder
-1 tsp grated nutmeg
-1 tsp freshly ground ginger
-4 tbsp honey
-1 1/2 lemon (quartered)
Instructions
-Pour the apple juice into a large bowl
-Peel the oranges, remove the pith and then separate into individual segments
-Cut the grapes into halves
-Core the apples then dice into small squares
-Peel the bananas and slice into thin wheels
-Place all the fruit in the bowl containing the apple juice
-Using moderate heat, melt the butter in a saucepan
-Add the honey and spices then mix thoroughly
-Add the fruit mixture followed by the lemon quarters
-Cook for 10 minutes (only stir occasionally)


-Turn off the heat, promptly remove the lemon pieces and serve immediately.
